Class Descrption
In History, we learn about different civilizations and different cultures around the world. For example, we learned about China. While we are learning, we have to do things like Cornell notes. We also watch videos about the civilization and take notes. We also do things such as games and simulations, in which we simulate what it would be like in the time of the civilization we are studying.
Renaissance Paper
This was done on Google Docs, it is a paper about the Renaissance. The prompt for this is to write a three paragraph essay about the changes that took place while the time periods the Middle Ages and Renaissance are transitioning. At first I was worried because the class only had a period to complete it. I ended up getting an A on this project. I knew that if I focused I would complete it. Sometimes somethings just need a lot of effort and everything will be alright.
Rome Poem
This poem is about the fall of Rome. It's a narrative poem about the fall of Rome. I made this on Microsoft Word. This was easy. I had to do this in computer class, but I was really cool. I didn't no microsoft office had a lot of power. I would have never imagined to make a typed poem look so amazing. I ended up getting an A. |
Titus Andronicus
In my English class, Mrs. Hibler had us read and understand the play
Titus Andronicus by William Shakespeare. The play was both interesting and
amazing. There were many deaths and rape, which is very depressing, but it was still an amazing play. It was interesting to read and although it can be a bit weird at times. We
watched a few clean clips to compare the play to the movie. I really liked the
play and movie, but the play is slightly better just because after all it's the
original thing.
Cornell Notes
In my history class, we are always working on Cornell Notes. They are very helpful to keep track of a certain unit. Sometimes, Mrs. Hibler will give usquizzes on the
Cornell Notes. They are always pretty easy because the questions she gives us
are suppose to be right in our Cornell Notes if we wrote them down after she tells us the
correct answer. She also always does them with us in class, which makes it
easier for us to understand. Mrs. Hibler does a good job of turning Cornell notes
into something fun, rather than boring in class.
